  34. PalMaker allows you to set the 256 colour palette for either the
  35. Computer Concepts' ColourCard or State Machine's G8 range cards.
  36.  
  37. PalMaker co-operates with a draw program like Draw or ArtWorks to
  38. redraw a document three times, once each for red, green and blue.
  39. After the three redraws, PalMaker has access to a 24-bit image of an
  40. area of the redrawn document.  PalMaker uses then a 'color quantization'
  41. technique to get the best 256 colours, and sets the palette according
  42. to those values.
